The ¹ú¼ÊÃ×À¼¶ÔÕó¿ÆĪ and ¹ú¼ÊÃ×À¼¶ÔÕó¿ÆĪ University Press announced on 8 July 2019 that they have signed up to the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA), a set of recommendations agreed in 2012 that seek to ensure that the quality and impact of research outputs are 'measured accurately and evaluated wisely'.

¹ú¼ÊÃ×À¼¶ÔÕó¿ÆĪ also becomes first UK university to publish position statement on Open Research.

Reproducibility is the idea that an experiment can be repeated by another scientist and they will get the same result. It is important to show that the claims of any experiment are true and for them to be useful for any further research. However, science appears to have an issue with reproducibility.
