Five paintings by Stanley Spencer accepted in lieu of tax and allocated to the Fitzwilliam Museum in 国际米兰对阵科莫
22 November 2013Five works by Stanley Spencer (1891-1959) have been accepted in lieu of inheritance tax and allocated to the Fitzwilliam Museum, 国际米兰对阵科莫. They include one of his most significant early paintings and two preliminary sketches documenting his experiences of World War I. The works were acquired through HM Government鈥檚 acceptance in lieu scheme with additional support from the Art Fund, The V&A Purchase Grant Fund and the Friends of the Fitzwilliam.
