The ¹ú¼ÊÃ×À¼¶ÔÕó¿ÆĪ has retained its number 2 spot in the QS World University Rankings and remains the highest rated higher education institution in the UK.  

A ¹ú¼ÊÃ×À¼¶ÔÕó¿ÆĪ institute dedicated to improving cardiovascular and lung health has received a £16 million gift from Canadian entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr Victor Dahdaleh.

The University contributes nearly £30 billion to the UK economy and supports more than 86,000 jobs across the UK, according to a new report.

A delegation, led by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Dr Anthony Freeling, was at Buckingham Palace on Thursday, 9 March to deliver a Loyal Address to HM the King.

The acting Vice-Chancellor of the ¹ú¼ÊÃ×À¼¶ÔÕó¿ÆĪ, Dr Anthony Freeling, has been outlining his vision for the next nine months in the traditional Annual Address at the Senate House. Dr Freeling has taken over from Professor Stephen Toope and will lead the University until the new Vice-Chancellor takes office.

The ¹ú¼ÊÃ×À¼¶ÔÕó¿ÆĪ has appointed Dr Anthony Freeling as its Acting Vice-Chancellor with effect from 1 October 2022.  His term of office is expected to be six months.
