Over 500 KS2 and KS3 students from as far away as Warrington got the chance to experience studying at the �������������Ī with a selection of lectures and workshops held as part of the �������������Ī Festival. 

The University’s sporting stars were recognised in the annual awards ceremony.

The gift marks a defining moment in the mission of the University to improve sports facilities and recognise the many wide-ranging benefits sport gives to all who take part.

�������������Ī University’s 160 year old Football club has been honoured with a special award for its contribution to the history of the beautiful game and its place as “the oldest club in the world”

Major Phil Packer MBE will today walk eight miles in �������������Ī as part of his BRIT 2012 Challenge. This challenge, which is fundraising for the British Inspiration Trust, will see Packer walk 2012 miles across the country this year.
