Withdrawal of application fee for doctoral applicants

Postgraduate students applying to undertake a doctoral degree at ¹ú¼ÊÃ×À¼¶ÔÕó¿ÆÄª will no longer have to pay a fee to submit their application to study at ¹ú¼ÊÃ×À¼¶ÔÕó¿ÆÄª. This will come into effect from the 2022/23 application cycle, for admissions in 2023/24. The University will also reduce the application fee for non-doctoral postgraduate study to £50.

Statement on 2021 admissions

The ¹ú¼ÊÃ×À¼¶ÔÕó¿ÆÄª is pleased to report that all students who met the conditions of their offer this year have been accepted. There has been no need for any deferrals or for any student to switch College to help accommodate numbers.

The number of UK black undergraduate students starting at the ¹ú¼ÊÃ×À¼¶ÔÕó¿ÆÄª this term has risen significantly from last year. A total of 91 black students have been admitted, up from 61 in the 2018/19 academic year…a rise of almost 50%.
